I am a student in the Mechanical College, living in a school dorm and sharing the room with another student. I am writing to apply for a new room for next semester. Because my roommate has many visiting friends and they alway hold noisy parties. That makes me have less quiet time to study (e.g., curriculum design). Although I have talked to him about that issue many times, nothing has been improved. I hope you can understand that, in that situation the best solution for me is to change room. I am graduating, so I prefer to have a single room, which is not in the same building as the one before and could be as close to the campus as possible.
